Lorrae Jaderberg
Director
For over forty years, my professional focus was to develop my educational knowledge and skills, support families and make a positive contribution and difference to their lives.
My teaching career began in 1978 in Leeds and continued at the International School of Stockholm, Sweden. On my return to the UK, I worked for several years in marketing for Herman Miller, London.
I returned to teaching in 1991, where I held a range of primary school positions as class teacher, SENCo and Deputy Headteacher in London. During this time, I spent five years in senior management and created and published several educational programmes for schools.
In 2007, I became a tutor and educational consultant, setting up my own consultancy. In 2010, I founded, as Co-Managing Director, JK Educate, to fulfil my vision and belief that every child should be given the opportunity and encouragement to achieve to the best of their ability and potential. I was a frequent contributor in national and local press and a respected “go-to” person for national radio presenters covering educational issues of the day.
Under my directorship, JK Educate became a successful and expanding educational consultancy, which was acquired by Dukes Education in May 2022.
I retired as Co-Managing Director and took some time to reflect; I joined Circle Square to discover more about myself and my retirement journey. During Planning Your Next Chapter, I became more involved with Circle Square to help develop and grow their vision. I believe Circle Square provides valuable perspective and support for those considering, approaching, and post retirement.
Alongside working with Circle Square, I am a governor at Harris Academy Tottenham and a member of The London Clinic Patient Forum.
