Rathbones

Rathbones will hold an initial meeting with an experienced and qualified professional to talk about your needs and decide how they can help, offered to all Circle Square members free of charge. They will hold a follow-up meeting to explain their recommendations, answer any questions you may have and agree the next steps.

Martin Ash is our dedicated Circle Square advisor, bringing over 20 years of top-tier banking and investment management experience, gained primarily at AllianceBernstein, Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse, where he worked with wealthy individuals, family offices and private institutions to guide and implement their global investment and financing strategies.

He has lived and worked in UK, France, Germany and China and speaks 6 languages. An alumnus of Durham University and Université de Paris-IV (Sorbonne), he is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and a CFA Charterholder.

Plurimi was established in 2007 with the aim of preserving and enhancing the real value of our clients’ wealth, with offices in London, Gibraltar & Dubai, Plurimi was born organically out of requests from our Chairman’s clients who wanted to be independent from any one financial institution, whilst at the same time continuing to work with their trusted adviser, having one point of contact.

This fresh approach enables Plurimi clients to have access to the breadth and depth of current market offerings, providing multiple custodians & jurisdictions, institutional pricing, and investment products that are not necessarily available at private banks.

Under the Retail Distribution Review description provided by the Financial Conduct Authority, Plurimi offers our clients “restricted advice”. This means that we offer investment advice from a selected range of providers, platforms and custodians.

With roots dating back to 1742, Rathbones has been a provider of financial services to private individuals and charities for a number of years.

The company listed on the London Stock Exchange in 1992 and in that same year, it pioneered one of the UK’s first tailored ethical and sustainable portfolio services, which led in 2004 to the formal establishment of Rathbone Greenbank Investments. In 2009, Rathbones became one of the first investment managers to sign up to the UN-endorsed Principles for Responsible Investment, which promotes environmental, social and governance considerations.

Today the firm operates out of 23 locations across the UK and Jersey, with over £100bn of assets under management.
