The Romans occupied London for 365 years and left over a million objects in the city. During the tour, Sam will guide you around and explore both visible and less visible remnants of that time. There’s still a lot remaining beneath the surface, so come and explore Roman Londonium.

About Sam Jacobs

Sam Jacobs is a Circle Square member and has a passion for the history of London, especially Roman history. He studied English Literature at Cambridge University and is a qualified City of London guide. He has worked in the technology industry since the 1990s and is a Londoner through and through. His book “A Visitor’s Guide to Roman London,” which is available on Amazon, is great background reading for the walk.
