Charles Dickens Literary Tour of London with Sam Jacobs
We are delighted to be hosting a special literary tour of London where we will visit many of the sights described in Charles Dickens’s novels and essays, as well as places associated with his life. We will explore places described in David Copperfield, those visited by Mr Pickwick, Pip and Scrooge and the scenes of many of his most loved writings. Additionally, we will look at the city institutions which he wrote about with affection and with a satirical eye and see the buildings which he described.
The Tour will include:
Dickens’ house and museum
Newgate Prison, Ludgate Hill
Scrooge’s office
Leadenhall Market
Our final stop will be the George & Vulture Pub – Mr Pickwick’s favourite – where we’ll stay for a drink and enjoy the opportunity to spend time together.
TICKET PRICE: £10 per head for Circle Square members / £15 per head for non-members
