Covent Garden originated as the market garden for Westminster Abbey. Over the years, it transformed from an exclusive housing area, to a fruit market, then slum area and later as a revived tourist centre. During our tour, we will delve into the fascinating history of this area, visiting locations connected to royalty, aristocrats, renowned architects, writers, actors, poets, and many others.
We’ll experience the lively street market, discover leading-edge restaurants, and enjoy amazing old pubs. There will be plenty of time to wander through the streets and alleys of this bustling area, soaking up the atmosphere. There’s always something unexpected happening in Covent Garden!
