Join us for a walking tour to explore the West Side of the City’s Architecture with London Guide, Sam Jacobs.

Overview of your London tour

We will walk through the West side of the City of London, seeing buildings from Roman times to the present, discussing their architectural styles and exploring their historical backgrounds.

Your London tour itinerary

Among the places we’ll see on the route are: contemporary Banks, Victorian buildings, The Old Bailey, a medieval gatehouse, a medieval priory, the oldest inhabited house in the City of London, and the last remaining part of the much-feared Newgate gaol.

TICKET PRICE: £12 per head for Circle Square members / £18 per head for non-members

About Sam Jacobs

Sam Jacobs is a Circle Square member and has a passion for the history of London, especially Roman history. He studied English Literature at Cambridge University and is a qualified City of London guide. He has worked in the technology industry since the 1990s and is a Londoner through and through.
