Overview of your London tour

We will walk through gardens across the northern and eastern part of the City of London, looking at the trees and wildlife as we go and exploring the history of the area. We’ll also discuss the City’s plan for green routes and work towards Carbon Neutrality.

Your London tour itinerary

Among the gardens we’ll see on the route are: an ancient burial ground, a glorified car park, the City’s largest and newest park – once a home for refugees, a city rooftop, a bombed-out church, an execution site and Samuel Pepy’s neighbourhood.

About Sam Jacobs

Sam Jacobs is a Circle Square member and has a passion for the history of London, especially Roman history. He studied English Literature at Cambridge University and is a qualified City of London guide. He has worked in the technology industry since the 1990s and is a Londoner through and through.
